Range Rover with a new V8 diesel engine – premier at the Moscow Autosalon!
The new 2011 Range Rover presented at the Moscow Autosalon will be available with a new 4.4-liter V8 turbodiesel engine that replaces the old 3.6-liter V8. The production of the new diesel engine SUV has been planned for the second part of 2010.
According to Worldcarfans.com, presentation of the vehicle for mass media has been planned for the middle of summer and the debut of Range Rover with the new engine will take place at the Moscow Autosalon.
The V8 engine on the model is 15% more powerful, producing 308 horsepower (230 kW, 312 PS), and up to 700 Nm (516 lb-ft) of torque, a 10% boost. Using 10.2 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers, or approximately 23 miles per U.S. gallon, the engine will produce 264 grams of CO2 per kilometer. This corresponds to a 10% reduction.
New on the model are the colors Baltic Blue and Fuji Alaska White and speed transmission selector.
The model’s full pricing will be released closer to the official reveal of SUV at the Moscow Autosalon.
